The Year Contest, giving Australian blues artists the opportunity
to win an air ticket and accommodation to the USA to represent
Australia in the IBC
(International Blues Challenge) that is held annually in Memphis.
MBAS Will Be Sending The Best Act To Memphis 2012.

Results of the MBAS 2011 Contest
Blues Performer of the Year 2011
Greyhound Hotel 1 Brighton Rd St Kilda,
Sunday 23rd October 5 – 10pm
The aim of the PBS 106.7 FM Blues Performer of the Year Contest (BPOYC) conducted by MBAS, is to find the best possible blues band/artist/s to represent the MBAS and Australia in Memphis USA at the International Blues Challenge (IBC) 31st January – 4th February 2012.
The Winner for 2011 is
Dreamboogie
3 RETURN AIRFARES & ACCOMMODATION
TO MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE, USA, AND ADMISSION TO THE IBC.
RADIO COVERAGE AND A $1000 CHEQUE TO THE WINNER FROM PBSFM.
Second place went to Andrea Marr Band, and Third to Shaun Kirk.
