Choosing a name with a reference to the legendary "T-Bone Walker", this trio of Melbourne blues musicians have clocked up nearly a century of blues experiences.

Having formed a couple of years ago, they play a mix of Chicago blues, Swings & Shuffles covering legendary artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, B.B.King, Freddie King, Johny Guitar Watson, Howlin Wolf, Eric Clapton and of course the man associated with their name - T.Bone Walker.

Featuring - Mark "Harpo" Greenway, on Guitars. "Harpo" has played for 30+years with anyone & everyone, including Chris Wilson, The Mudcats with Kerry Simpson, Dizzy Fingers, Sweet Felicia & the Honeytones, & currently Jeanie Lushes.

John "Dude" Brockton on Drums & Vocals. " Dude" has provided the method of rhythm for the likes of The Moonee Valley Drifters, The Ultrasounds, Dizzy Fingers, Mojos, and is currently drumming for Jeanie Lushes & the Blues Boys. " Dude" swings & sings up a storm with his big voice!

Jeff Walters on Bass, has like the others, been paying his blues dues for 30+years in various bands, including Dizzy Fingers &The Quokkas. As a King with 4 strings, this guys swings.

The aim of the MBAS Blues Performer of the Year Contest (BPOYC) is to find the best possible blues band/artist/s to represent the MBAS and Australia in Memphis Tennessee USA at the International Blues Challenge (IBC) 1 -5 Feb. 2011. The IBC Memphis has 2 categories: Band section and Solo/Duo section.

The finals for MBAS BPOY will be Sunday 5pm - 10pm 24th October 2010 at the
Grand Central Hotel, Richmond.

Entries will close on Tuesday September 21st

Previous winners/placegetters in Memphis have included Jimi Hocking, Fiona Boyes, Andy Cowan & Geoff Achison. Last year’s entrant was Dan Dinnen.
