THE MISS LOU BAND is led by blues vocalist performer MISS LOU, whose sassy, charismatic stage presence and rich soulful voice has charmed audiences since she hit her stride on local blues stages 5 years ago. Now a much sought-after act, whether performing as a solo artist, in a duo, trio, or in band formation, Miss Lou’s repertoire gracefully spans the realms of blues music, along with flirtations in jazz, country, folk and gospel styles. She leaves an unforgettable impression wherever she performs, and has proven herself to be a talented force and an inspirational leading voice in ‘women in blues’. The Miss Lou Band lineup plays with focused rhythm and funky improvisation to get people grooving.
