Feature act: DALE LINDREA - THE LONE VANGUARD

THE LONE VANGUARD is DALE LINDREA's latest solo project allowing him to more intimately develop his original material alongside his renowned reinventions of Blues standards. Dale’s vocal and tenor guitar approach is at once unique yet familiar as he draws upon his deep knowledge of the Blues.

Dale’s musical journey includes tap dancing at age 8, trombone at 15, bass guitar at 19, tenor guitar at 30, some schooling, three U.S. pilgrimages and 4,000+ gigs along the way.

Circa 1994 Dale and guitarist/vocalist Benny Peters formed The Vanguards as a vehicle to express their enthusiasm for and devotion to the Blues. Since then, the band has had inevitable personnel and instrumentation developments and changes yet has always had at its core Dale’s desire to perform the Blues as a contemporary music.

Dale is also much sought after as a sideman bassist with various top tier Blues acts including Collard Greens & Gravy.
