COPENHAGEN SLIM – direct from Denmark, this award-winning Danish Blues artist (Nisse Thorbjorn) arrives in Australia for his debut solo tour in a one-man band format (guitar / harp / stompbox / vocals).

Having toured Europe both solo and with US All-Stars John Primer and Lurrie Bell, Copenhagen Slim feels at home playing Chicago blues but also has a strong love for the folkier side of Blues and artists like Leadbelly and Robert Johnson.

Don't be fooled by the 'solo' moniker – hearing Copenhagen Slim play guitar, harmonica, singing and stomping the beat at the same time, creates a full band sound bound to get you to your feet.

Is there such a thing as a Danish blues tradition? If you ask the ‘Great Dane’, then the answer is "Hell yeah!"
