SEAN 'JUKEBOY' EMMETT joins T.K. REEVE to serve up a double Blues treat at MBAS!

Originally from Kiama NSW, Sean 'JukeBoy' Emmett is now Melbourne-based and an active musician building a solid reputation on the Melbourne Blues scene. Whether it be playing guitar in the Aria award-winning band ‘Collard Greens & Gravy’, sitting in for other bands on harmonica, or leading his own band of all-star players, Sean knows how to create dynamics within the various Blues styles and brings a unique attitude to every performance. His music influences range from Jimmy Reed to T-Bone Walker, and if you like your Chicago Blues down-home, boogie swingin’ and your ballads lonesome, then JukeBoy Emmett’s show will be one that leaves you wanting more!

T.K. Reeve is based in Melbourne and well-known as a double bassist in various band lineups, but primarily is a guitarist and singer playing in the Blues style. His original songs hark back to early roots music, with a more modern perspective. Playing baritone electric guitars, he conveys everything from ballads to energetic dance numbers, delivering a spontaneous and dynamic show. Appearing at regional and interstate festivals, in addition to regular spots around Melbourne and as a feature artist on the legendary Blues Train in Queenscliff, T.K.'s music heroes and influences shine through from the greats including Charley Patton, Elmore James, Lightnin' Hopkins, Jimmie Rodgers and Louis Jordan.
